Details

Watchy is a wearable development platform built as a fully open-source E-Ink watch. The exposed PCB design can be worn as-is or built into printed, molded, or aluminum enclosures, making it useful both as a daily timepiece and as a compact firmware project.

The 1.54 inch 200 x 200 monochrome e-paper display stays readable in bright sunlight and consumes power only when the image changes. An ESP32 module provides Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE, while the board adds a 3-axis accelerometer, vibration motor, real-time clock, four tactile buttons, and built-in USB serial for programming.

Good fit for: custom watch faces, API-connected wrist widgets, wearable UX experiments, Arduino/ESP-IDF projects, and enclosure design work.

Wireless Battery

Seller Notes

Assembly required. Contains a rechargeable battery, small parts, and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth radio hardware. Keep loose components away from children and follow normal ESD precautions when handling the bare board.
