Details

Openterface Mini-KVM is a compact KVM-over-USB tool for working on headless machines without a spare monitor, keyboard, network path, or full crash cart. Connect HDMI and USB between the target computer and your laptop, open the host app, and get local video plus emulated keyboard and mouse control.

The device is aimed at field troubleshooting: BIOS-level access, quick hardware startup, 1080p video capture at 30 Hz, low-latency control, audio capture, text transfer, and a switchable USB 2.0 port for sharing a flash drive or other USB device between host and target. It is OSHWA certified open hardware, with host software available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Good fit for: server maintenance, single-board computer bring-up, edge device debugging, kiosk service calls, BIOS configuration, and hardware labs that need a small toolbag KVM.
